Hello I am a 21 year old sexually active female. I have been experiencing a strange menstrual recently. I track everything so I am 100% on all these dates. Very long just don't want to leave anything out that might be key points. My last normal period was on September 11 till September 16. Everything was ok I guess. I think it was a easy period. Now October things start getting wacky. From October 8th to October 20th I had everything. The first 3/4 days I had what looked like spotting. Literally only after wiping a pale pink. Usually what the beginning of a normal period starts as. Except this wasn't just for a few hours or a day. I usually experience heavy cramping the first two days. This time nothing. The pink then turned into other lighter shades only when wiping I would find it. Never actually falling out of me. Not enough for a tampon. The 10th to the 16th I have off and on bleeding not constant. Still only when wiping. Not enough for a tampon. On the 18th and the 19th I would have a light discharge and bleed only at night. Slight back pains. These two days were the only days blood would fall out on its own. The 20th was the same just like the first day and I haven't seen it since. Now November 5th to November 9th I got my period not a cramp and a very easy period. Still not what I am a custom to. Now currently I am on my period again which I think its to close it started November 25 right now day 5. This is the one period in awhile that I can say is the real deal for me. Painful heavy and long. Usually they last 7 or 8 days and i'm pretty sure it will be around for that wrong. Now I never been on birth control. I never had any children. And I am not stressed. I also took 2 test both negative. I took them back in November. Any one have something like this before? Very weird and annoying. I haven't went to a doctor since I have no insurance. But this cannot be normal. Feedback please.

Happy holidays !
Jessica,NJ

Hey, I am having a similar issue with my periods at the moment so I know how you feel!
It seems to me that your cycle has changed.
Once a year for about two months my period goes nuts & my doctor refered to it as 'changing the cycle' so my periods went from 7-9 days really heavy for most of the time 28 day cycle, to 3-5 days average flow now 33-35 days. My.doctor said to him, its normal.
You can go on a pill to regulate your cycle .. so its always on time and goes for the right amount of days..

If you have gained weight, or lost it or changed your diet or started working out more or less it could be a factor too, hope you find out what's going on Smile
