. The diagnosis is VT. because I had rapid heart beat PVC's and 2 fainting spells, I saw a cardiologist and though testing from IV's of potassium to holster monitor through tilt table. EEG, EKG, Echo all that Jazz. Doc says he has no doubt it is VT and the cath ablation is scheduled on April 6th. I am aware of the procedure but have a few questions.
1- The 3rd I am having a MRI of the heart. If we know whats wrong why this test.
2- When they did Tilt it was with a femoral artery monitor. They will use the arteries again during the ablation, how many and where? What is the norm?
3- The goal is for me to go home the next day so I am planning on staying the night in the hospital. What is the average recovery period.
4- Finally what is the success rate? I am 40 and have never had any health issues.
