I have my son 1.75 years old. He had operated for insertion of vp shunt at age of 3 months. Now he has very amazing problem that he takes his respiration with jerks especially just after getting feed. These jerks continue upto 2 to 3 hours and sometimes if he sleeps, it get ok.

I seek doctor neuro physisian, and he diagnosed it as epilepsy and advised epilium(sodium vaproate).

What sort of problem is this. If you can guide then i would be more than grateful.
