i have a bleeding disorder where my blood will not clot.
me and my bf wanna have protected sex. but scared to becuase we dont know if my Hymen if it breaks..will i bleed alot? covereyes im so scared..please answer as soon as possible..i don have time to see a docter..please answer..its very important..thanks..

Hi there, thank you for posting your question on Ehealthforum. This is not intended as a substitute to visiting your own doctor.

There are, as you know, varying degrees of severity of Von Willebrand's Disease.You do not say which type you have.But that aside, even if yours is severe, this should not be an issue when/if your hymen breaks. Go gently and use lots of vaginal lubrication. If you belong to a Vol Willebrand support group you might also check with them that what I'm saying here is correct.
