I'm suffering from foot drop randomly. For 8 days I've been laid in bed vomiting, unable to drink, unable to eat, sleeping most of the time, so i can't have damaged anything.

But now I'm feeling better and up and about again.. my right foot is paralyzed. I can't wiggle/move/curl my toes, I can't lift my foot upwards, it's numb and I just have no function or control over it.

Why would suffering from vomiting for a week cause foot drop and paralyze me below my right ankle?

P.s: I can put weight on the foot with no problem, there's no pain, no swelling etc. I can walk OK, albeit with a limp because as I said, I can't lift my foot up.

Wow, where are you located at? I'm in Oklahoma and my son just experienced this exact same thing on Wednesday a day after you posted. I am still waiting on the doctor to tell me what this may be caused from. Have you gotten any better or what occurred.
