I'm really scared. I'm only 14, I stayed home from school because I woke up vomiting. the only thing is i was vomiting blood. This happened the day after i started my period. I just told my mom about the vomiting. not that it was blood. Now I am going through Regular tampons every hour. I'm bleeding so heavily it is leaking through the tampon, my pantie and my pants. I'm scared and i need advice. I promised my bestfriend I would tell my mom tomorrow being 3.30.11 but can you help me at all ? please

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Do not delay in informing your mother about your symptoms to be able to take professional help at the earliest. You will need a thorough examination done by your doctor/gynecologist along with blood and hormonal workup, ultrasound scan to look for the underlying cause and start you on appropriate treatment at the earliest. The causes could vary from anemia, bleeding disorders, clotting problem, thyroid dysfunction, etc. The treatment options would be decided based on examination finding and investigation results.
Take care.
