Q: Vocal chords not touching ?

please help and tell me what i can do to get my voice back its been gone 6 weeks and I seen the ent today they told me my vocal chords are not touching when i talk but didn't tell me what i can do to make it work again

A precise diagnose and its cause was not given. You might want to ask your doctor if the vocal cords are not touching due to paralysis of some of the laryngeal muscles and whether the loosing of the voice is considered irreversible. If no help can be given to improve the condition, you might want to consider visiting a speech therapist for other techniques of speaking without using the vocal cords.
