Q: Vitamins to help fatigue?

Do you feel as tired as I do sometimes? In the afternoons especially, I just hit a wall!

Well, two years ago I was diagnosed with Epstin-Barr, which is just a fancy word for chronic fatigue. Nice, huh? My doc said it must have been those 80-100 hour work weeks I used to pull off when I was a top sales manager for a multi-million dollar marketing corporation. Don't worry, it was only in the summer times, our "busy season", but still...I was only 23!

Naturally, I went on this special diet - very little dairy, no sweets, no this, no that - I refused to give up coffee though...even though that was one of my main instigators of fatigue in the afternoons.

Troughout the past 2 years I have tried NUMEROUS supplements. I have found some really great ones that have helped tremendously!

But how can vitamins help? They help stimulate your immune system, glands, and digestive tract, and they can help stabilize and relax your mood. They also promote good circulation of blood and oxygen to the entire body, a necessity for high energy and vitality.

Caution: There are vitamins out there that won't serve you well - so before buying that $80 bottle that you think looks fancy, read up on the ingredients (I know this takes extra time...but don't you think your body is worth it?).

For example, maybe look for a few of these...

*Rhodiola extract promotes energy and mental alertness
*DMAE is an organic compound from fish and can help support memory
*Arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid that supports vascular health
*Green Tea provides increased energy and other health benefits
*Vitamin C is a Super-antioxidant that supports your body’s defense system
*B Vitamins helps sustain energy

What types of vitamins have you tried that are working for you?

I'm currently taking a round of colostrum to strengthen the immune system...which also seems to be helping my energy levels. And a liquid multivitamin. It tastes REALLY BAD, but the effects are quite immediate.

I'd suggest that you cut out the caffeine! What's stopping you?
