I have had MS for the past 15 years. I take no medications because they don't work. That's not a secret.
My neurologist recently published an article called, "MS patients don't often adhere to treatments: study" The study showed that more than half of all multiple sclerosis patients take their medication regularly and many stop taking drugs or switch treatments within two years.
Like your cousin, I found an ND to help me. And boy am I happy I found her because I am healthy and I have NO symptoms at all. In fact I have never felt and looked better.
My neurologist totally understands why I chose alternative therapy. The medication left me depressed, weak and unable to walk or write. Needless to say, I did not stay on it long. Afte a few weeks of hell, I shot it in the garbage and emailed my doctor and the drug company right away. Neither one disagreed with my decision.
I am very curious to know which vitamin therapy did your cousin's ND reccommend--vitamin C, glutathione, meyer's cocktail? And what type of MS does she have?
If you provide these details, I could probably let you know which may be best. If you don't want to discuss this publicly, feel free to send me a PM.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Tricia
