Visible great saphenous vein?

User Profile
I don't usually look to my thighs, but today I've noticed that I can see a a bit dark green vein in it, and I think that it is the great saphenous vein.

I see only a part of it and it is on my left thigh. I cant see any part of it on my right thigh. Is this normal?

The visibility of the vein depends on the composition of the skin and the amount of fat in the dermis.

As long as you do not have any issue other than the appearance, you need not worry about it.
