hi i used to have viral meningitis about a yearr ago and ever since than i been having headaches like some will come and go and some would stay for months i went to the hospital but they told me everything was okay even tho they did not take any test or anything well i havent had any lately but today feb,28,2011 it kind of came back but it would come and go it came after i woke up from nap do you think its just a normal headache.

Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.

From the history provided, your headache does appear to be due to a benign cause and nothing related to that of encephalitis.

This has been confirmed by examination by doctors at the hospital.

You might consider using tylenol or ibuprofen for your headache.
