My 6 year old son has been sick for the last 10 days now, he has been to his Dr. and the ER once they both have told me he has a viral infection of some sort and left it at that. He has a constant fever, diarrhea, sore throat, and pain in his stomach, he is hardly eating and has lost approximately 7 lbs now. Its breaking my heart to see him like this and I would just like to know is this a viral infection and how long is this suppose to last? His Dr. said it would last 4-5 days but we are way beyond that now. And if it is an infection could there be any medications out there that would help him?
