I have been seeing an opthalmologist & was diagnosed with viral conjunctivitis. He says there is no treatment for it.
I was first 3 weeks ago give an optical drops for treatment, well the redness & irriation have gone, but the doctor is still concerned about the white dots in both eyes.
Yesterday he ruled out because of contact wearing, but wants to see me in a month for follow up to see if this has gone away.
It has already been a month of this, does it take this long to heal? should I seek a 2nd opinion.
My concern also is what are these white dots? he was not clear, other than saying something like, I have "ckg" ?????
He told me during this month just to use an over the counter lubricant until I see him again. I have seen him 4x's in one month????
Concerned
