Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!

There are many causes that can cause violent behavior to start in a person all of a sudden such as problem in brain chemistry (low serotonin levels in the brain), brain damage, genetic defects, emotional turmoils, stress, anxiety, or an unhealthy psychological environment.

It is beyond the scope of net to diagnose the cause. You need to consult your PCP and get proper referrals for treatment. At home you can try relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises, listening to music etc. Keep yourself active and engaged through out the day. Hope this helps. Take care!
