I have been suffering for approx. 3 yrs with chronic dizziness and was recently diagnosed with vestibular migraines after seeing a neurologist at the Dizziness and Balance Disorders Center at Mayo Clinic. This has caused me to go on disability and has been very debilitating. I was given a course of meds to take- Nortiptyline first which caused some symptoms of irregular heart rate and palitations and had to taper off that med and recently started Effexor-XR with a beta-blocker. Just wondering if anyone else has had exerience with any of these meds for the treatment of vest. migraines? Any info would be helpful. Thanks, from a dizzy blonde
