Since about the start of the year my wbc has been very low. Today when I was tested it was 2.4 which is highest its been this yr! They are watching the neutrophils mainly bc they are the lowest... right now @ 0.57.
I've had a number of blood test....no cancer or any know disorders. I've had CT scan and a bone marrow test...everything came out good. I did find out that I have a thyroid problem but they said it isn't making my count low.
I'm a 24yr female that has always been health. I usually am never sick. I would like to just forget about my blood count being low bc i feel fine but i know it may be something major and i don't want to ignore it that. The Dr. doesn't really know what to do except send me to the MAYO clinic for more testing. I am a hair dresser and he recommanded me to avoid haircolor...which it's my passion and it's my career. Anyone have any suggestions of what I should do?
