I'm 18 years old. I was one month away from my 12th birthday when I got my first period. I've never been regular. For a few years, I didn't care because I knew it was normal, but it's been 6 1/2 years since then. The last time I got my period was in the beginning of November, now it is almost April. I've never had sex. I've been to the gynecologist once, to see if I had any infections or cysts, but she said nothing was wrong with me.

firstly, what is wrong with me?
secondly, I never even thought of this but my friend said this to me tonight and it worried me--will I still be able to have children? She said she thinks I probably won't be able to. I'm only 18 so I don't want any now, but I would love to be a mother when I'm older.

Thanks.
