Last week I got this new symptom my face became very dry (At 10 weeks). But so dry it was peeling off. Is this normal?? I have readed that pregnancy can cause acne but dry skin? I thought maybe I'm dehidrated and begin drinking a lot of water since last week but it doesn't seem to help much. Skin is still very dry on my chin and nose. I will appreciate feedback.

It's normal, the hormonal changes & increased blood flow during pregnancy cause all sorts of changes in your skin. I have awful patches of dry skin on my cheekbones.. no matter how much moisturiser I use it doesn't go away & it itches like mad. The rest of my face still gets greasy which is annoying.

I am 12 weeks along and I feel your pain. My skin has went crazy with the hormone change. Its starting to flake in spots and become very irritated. The only thing I have found that helps is plain old vasoline. I use it as often as I can and it has really helped keep it moisturized. Good luck hun..

I used to use the plain old vaseline. I found something that is better and is natural. Grape Seed Oil. If you apply it with a small damp towel several times, it helps. The slight moisture makes it absorbed more readily.

I always had super clear skin, now I even break out on my back, my face looks terrible. Really oily and stuff. I also found my skin to be itchy, like unreasonably itchy.

Extremely eHealthy
Thanks ladies that really calms me down that I'm not the only one. Oh well I guess it's time to go shopping for a good moisturizer. I do take dry skin over acne any day. I got concerned because before that I was drinking too much milk and thought that maybe had to do with it..

I did find thoug hthat drinking TONS of water seems to help with both
