Okay, I'm a 17 year old (almost 1, and I have extreme feelings for one of my best friends, who is 18. She knows how I feel about her (I told her), but she has a boyfriend, who she is in a "long-term relationship" with. Both of us will be going to college this fall, she and her boyfriend will be 3 hours apart, she and I will be 9 hours apart. We talk a lot via facebook and IM, and we talk about almost everything imaginable. I really feel like I am falling in love with her. We have hung out a few times, obviously not dates, and I can't get around how strong my feelings are for her. I really believe that I could fall in love with this girl. To make things worse, she told me that she would date me if she didn't have a boyfriend (which was meant to help, but actually made it hurt worse). I can't stop thinking about her, but I know that both of us will be gone and she'll be in a long distance relationship either way. My feelings for her don't really bother her (at least thats what she tells me), I just think I need some advice on where to go from here and what to do. And just fyi, she is a very honest, kind, caring, and warm hearted girl, and we are very close as friends.

Anyone have any ideas?
