Hi. I have random episodes of vertigo/spinning/falling sensations through out the day.. Which can sometimes give me nasuea. My ears have been checked and my blood sugar levels are both fine, i'm not sure if this can be due to anixety? (which is something i have, i am borderline hypocondriac) but it affects my daily life.. And makes me not want to do much (the vertigo) and i was wondering if anybody thinks this could be just due to anxiety or stress that i have? Please help me out if you have any answers, or advice... I'm tired of it all.

God bless

vertigo
Hi...I have Meniere's Disease which is an inner ear condition that causes horrible vertigo and nausea. A cursory look in the ear will not detect this. There is also another condition called benign positional vertigo which sounds more like what you have. It comes with head movement, looking up and down etc, goes away then comes back. I'm not a doctor and don't know if that is what you have but I can relate to the symptoms. Anxiety can also cause alot of things, including bouts of dizziness and vertigo. and believe it or not....So can ear wax!

good luck...I know how you feel!

Anxiety and Vertigo
I suffer with dizzy spells that I have not had a diagnosis for yet, when I get these dizzy spells they appear from no where, then I get really bad nausea, it can last 5 mins to 4 hrs, when it goes away I get a slight headaches.
My GP says its maybe Anxiety, I maybe agree a bit with that because I did do get very scared wi these dizzy spells.
My GP is made an appointment with the ears, nose & throat clinic to see if I've got Vertigo but he's sure I haven't, because I don't have ringing in my ears nor are they sore.
I noticed one thing that I read up on, you can suffer from Visaul Vertigo, because there is something wrong with your inner ear, your eyes do a lot of work to make up for it, and I have noticed my eyes are harder to consentrate on things, like reading print, walking in and out stores etc..
