I started a vegitarian diet 2 months ago. My period normally starts on the hour every month. However the first month, my period started just a few hours early. Now this month my period has not started yet and it was supposed to start yesterday morning. Concidering how strict my cycle usually is, i must say i am getting a little nervous. I plan to take a pregnancy test but i would like to know if anyone else has experienced this issue.
Thanks !

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Changes in lifestyle, diet, exercise levels, stress levels can cause changes in hormonal pattern that could affect the period pattern. Usually, a delay of 5-10 days in periods is considered to be normal. If your periods are regular, you need not worry. If the periods are delayed further, or if you experience abnormal periods/bleeding, then consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance.
Take care.
