I've heard people can never wake up from a vegetative state but, also I heard of a person that did. It made me think that maybe that person was just in coma or maybe it's just a rare occurance. Anyways, is it possible for anyone to wake up from a vegatative state?

If im correct in my thinking a vegative state means that wthout life support the person would not survive they would die instantly and nothing can be done to revive them as the brain has no function anymore.The brain has basicly died even though the heart is being kept functioning,therefore there is no hope for a person in a vegative state.im very sorry if this is a personal loss for you
