Dizziness can be due to insufficient blood flow in the head. One of the most frequent causes for the insufficient blood flow is hypotension.
If dizziness is more frequently experienced after a missed meal, then it might be caused by hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia is a decreased level of blood sugar which is needed for the brain to function properly.
It also is possible that dizziness might be caused by neural disorders in the cerebellum where the center for balance is located.
So, the next time you feel dizzy you might want to have your blood pressure measured. Visiting a doctor to have your blood sugar measured might be helpful. If nothing is found, you might be referred to a neurologist.
