Current medical status: i had ectopic pregnancy in April 08 and i decided i would change to the patch, i have been on the patch for 9 months now, but i am always getting two bleeds, e.g i take my patch off beed for 4 days it stops for a few days no blood at all, then starts again for 2 days, i am starting to worry now as i want to try for a baby in june, and with only having one tube i want every thing to be ok
Current medical treatment: right tube removed and on evra patch

Every birth control method that includes hormones can have period bleeding irregularities as a side-effect. What would be more important for you to know is that it may take even several months for your menstrual cycle and period to return to normal. How much time this will take depends on the actual brand and on the individual characteristics of the body.
You might check with your gynecologist for other causes for abnormal vaginal bleeding.
