Hi

I recently went to my gp with a large lump like structure clearly visible to the skin almost resembling a bag of tubes and sharp pain in my left testicle he referred me to a urologist but i could only get an appointment within 3 weeks i want to know if it is necessary to have it removed or should i just wait and see if it goes away. or is the final decision up to the urologist.
How could i be sure it is a varicocele since the gp didn't say much.

Lastly i would like to know if it could cause low testosterone since i don't seem to be able to bulk out event though i have been gyming regularly and taking portien and creatine supplements over the last 2 years.

Any advice could be great so i can know what to expect at the appointment

Thanx Cool

Ok you might have gone to a urologist by
now but ill put in my two cents. I personally have a vericocele, as does my dad and several male family members. My dad is urologist and I am a medical student. The vericocele is mostly harmless. It can rarely cause infertility, but I am EXTREMELY fertile even though I have one (thats a whole other story). There is pain sometimes, especially after exercise or being in a hot tub, bath, etc. Nothing to be too worried about
