I am 23 years old and have been diagnosed with varicocele on the bottom of my left testicle and on the top of my right, I have recently noticed that can have good days with not much problem but more often now I am having bad days where esspecially my right testicle is twisting 180 degrees, its not too painful, more uncomfortable. once it was clear where it had twisted and i pushed it back with relative ease. But 2 days ago it had twisteds again and remains the facing the wrong way round, I know this because what was a varicocele on the top of my right is not at the bottom and I notice that if i spread my legs my right testicle twists sideways (the now top into the left) like it wants to go back that way, but I daren't twist it again as is more uncomfortable this time and not completely sure if it is the right way to twist.
My main problem is that i'm traveling at the moment, it is causing me some considerable disturbance and panicing quite often, wondering whether to head back to the UK to get it looked at again? Is it a problem that it is facing the wrong way? no real pain just uncomfortable. Is it possible it may correct itself in the next couple of days? My second worry is that i'm heading for a festival and not sure that sitting on the ground and probably dancing about is going to help the situation?! Does anyone have any advice on the matter please? Oh the other thing is I think I have linked pain that I get down my lower back down to my thighs with 'bad scrotum days' is this a common sign of varicoceles or god forbid testicular torsion??
Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you.
