i went to the dr today to make sure my iud was in place and they had to use an ultrasound. well the iud was fine but my dr told me they see a small solid area(dot-or whatever) i guess on one of my ovaries. she said it does not look like a cyst or maybe she just plainy said its not a cyst. can you tell that just from an ultrasound picture-that it is definitely not a cyst? and she said to come back in a month for a recheck. she also said it could be from the fact that i'm ovulating right now--how is that???
what are the possibilities of what this could be?

thank you,
amy

She said it's not a cyst, but she didn't say what it could be? Obviously she didn't sound concerned. It could be... oh I don't know, the egg working it's way out of the ovary. But I don't really know what else.
