Q: vaginal tears

I have been having sex with my boyfriend, now on an almost daily basis. The last time we had sex; it was kind of rough and i believe that i have a tear in the lower vaginal area. what should i do to make the tear heal?

Everything I've read says minor tears will heal on their own. I would recommend abstaining from sex until it heals up- sex may worsen the tear and the tear will almost certainly cause pain during sex.
