I have had a really bad sore throat ever since Saturday (6 days ago) because of drainage down the back of my throat i think. I also got my period yesterday. 2 days before I got my period when i wiped after going to the bathroom and it hurt. I seen a little bump, which looked like an ingrown hair at the time. The next day it was still painful when i wiped or touched the area, it then looked like a canker sore that you would get in your mouth. It is located on the left side, on the vulva area where the major and minor labias join. I have been puting neosporin pain relief on it and it doesnt seem to be helping. I have googled many things and i have came across blocked glands, herpes, irritation from rough sex....

I have been with the same guy for over three years now, we have a monogomous relationship....and we were eachothers firsts! I have also been tested for all stds 2 times since we've been together during my pap smear and the last pap i had they only tested for chlmydia...all have been negative/normal paps.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! (I don't have medical insurance right now, so i'm just looking for what it might be!)

So is their any way it could be herpes? I never developed any more than just the one. I didn't feel the tingling like they say you would feel before an "outbreak", it didn't itch, it was never a blister, so it didnt pop and leak fluid, and now that its almost gone it didn't "crust" over and turn into a scab. It just simply got smaller and smaller and now you can see a little redness but their is no open sore and it doesn't hurt.

Any ideas? All I want to know is that its no herpes!!

Oh yea and they say your first "outbreak" is the worst....but what happens if I only had one? Can that rule it out?

honey this is herpes: small red bumps that may develop into blisters and open lesions. These “bumps” appear at the site of infection, which may be in or around the vaginal area, the cervix, the penis, urinary tract of both men and women, and around the anal opening, buttocks or thighs. Sores also may appear on other parts of the body where broken skin has come into contact with HSV. Over a period of days, the sores become encrusted and then heal without scarring.

and this is syphilis: The primary stage of syphilis is usually marked by the appearance of a single sore (called a chancre), but there may be multiple sores. The time between infection with syphilis and the start of the first symptom can range from 10 to 90 days (average 21 days). The chancre is usually firm, round, small, and painless. It appears at the spot where syphilis entered the body. The chancre lasts 3 to 6 weeks, and it heals without treatment. even though it appears as if it is healed it's not you know why because it is still in your blood and it will start the secondary phase
you said its painless and it is one ulcer so it might be a syphilis you need to do a vaginal swap and if the ulcer vanished you need to do a blood test its not safe if it went to the blood -----> clotting block the blood veins

No I said it did hurt. For a day it even hurt just to sit down. Before and after that day it hurt to wipe after I went to the bathroom. Thats why I am confused! I only had one, wasnt a blister, didnt crust over, I only had it for a week, it was painful..... it's like both of them into one! I just don't get it....

It is completely gone now.
