Q: Vaginal Sore ?

I'm a virgin (and not just a technical one), and haven't had sexual contact of any kind in over four years. Yesterday, I felt itching down there and assumed I had a yeast infection coming on, as I've gotten them before. However, this morning I found three painful canker-looking sores on my left labia. I've got no idea what they could be. Can they be a symptom of a yeast infection, or something else?
