I am having a problem I have white bumps around the labia, 2 long oval rashes in the underwear line and the rash and the bumps itch like crazy. The doctor keeps telling me that the glands are infected and that the rash looks like yeast but shes not sure she said it looks like yeast. She put me on all the regular meds and they helped a little but not much and doesnt help the itching at all. She said it might be the rare form of yeast and put me on a boric acid 5% and lanolin which at first helped then stopped working. I followed all the directions but nothing is working this has been going on for a long time and its getting worse. I am diabetic type 2 on 500mg of metphomin i was also on lovastatin 20mg for colestrolal but with no insurance and no job im stuck to home remedys if there are any. mostly i just wash daily if not 2 times daily to help with the itching. also i think it might be in my ears as they itch all the time too.

I would try two things...First, a hot bath to relieve the glands...Second, go to cotton underwear in case you are getting a reaction from the material...When it starts itching try not to scratch it...This will make it much worse...Try putting a clean wash rag that you have gotten cold with ice cubes...Very often cold will stop the itching...I have found this with my legs....I cannot use an electric blanket in the Winter as the intense heat will make them itch...I have poor circulation...Even though you don't have this problem, it just may help you by going the cold route....Actually, it has helped quite a few...

didnt help
I always wear cotten undies and the hot baths while they help dont help for long and i cant live in the tub. I tried the cold cloth and oh wow that made things worse I went into full blown itch mode had to shower to help stop the itching. any other suggestions?

Yes, but it is a prescription...It can be used internally and is a steroid...I used it for soreness from too much sex before I was changed to Estring...It can also be used on parts of your skin...If this does not work then I surrender.....Good luck....

i dont understand why she didnt take a culture of you to rule things out and tell you for sure what you have.
i dont want my doctor saying "it looks like.." i want them to be sure, so i dont have to keep going to the doctors because their guessing.
i have left over monostate cream for the outside of your vagina.
i went to the doctor for the itch i was having and they couldnt find anything (std's). i really believe i had it from always being wet. i live in the sunshine state and i always sweat. once i kept myself dry the itch went away, but the cream soothed it a lot.
