It's more than likely the pressure of the baby coming down into place and pressing on nerves as it prepares to be born. Lots of women experience this. If it is a concern to you, tell the doctor on your next visit. You should be going weekly in the last month. You could be readying for labor also, so if the pain comes and goes, check with your doctor sooner. Good luck!

I am not due until October and I am having vaginal pain too. I am fine if I am sitting, but the moment I stand or walk, I am in pain. The baby is pretty big and his head is already down, but I am assuming it is too early to be readying for labour. Any other advice?

Nope, same for you. If your baby is big, he or she is pushing on all your organs and pelvis, so you could be stretching down there to accomodate the delivery. You will probably go through all kinds of little pains in the pelvic area, back, legs...all part of getting ready to give birth. If you had really severe pains of bleeding, then I would call the doctor, but some pain is normal while you are pregant, after all, you've got a little person in your tummy moving all your innards around! Congrats and good luck!

vaginal varicose veins
You know there is a wonderful garment made especially for us women who suffer from vaginal pain, or painful varicose veins of the vagina. It's the Fembrace V-Brace and it's wonderful. Best money I ever spent! It's worth checking out .
Good luck!
