Q: Vaginal pain after sex
asked by: DoctorQuestion on October 10th, 2009
Ok, I have a IUD(mirena). So my boyfriend and I decided to have sex(protected) monday for the 1st time we didnt start with any foreplay or anything because i was 'kindda' wet. His penis is abnormally and it was hurting really bad. So once we got started and was going for about 5min, i focused more on the pain than the pleasure. i was really dry and he was still going very fast. It was hurting extremely bad. Once we were finish i put on my clothes(very tight jeans)and everything and went home. Once i got home i was too tired to take a shower so i just changed my clothes and laid down. I used the bathroom and it burnt like crazy! so when Tuesday came i took a hot shower and washed myself and it burnt still...so i got some AD Cream and put it down there and that made it burn even worst. So now its Saturday and its like i have two cuts/bumps that are sore to touch and like a bump with a scratch on it which is extremely painful. then around my vagina entrance it hurts and is very red

Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!

You have probably bruised your vagina and the labia due to rigorous sex on dry vagina. Along with that, you probably also have UTI or urinary tract infection. Generally first timers get a UTI called honeymoon cystitis. Unprotected sex can also cause STDs like herpes.

On net it is difficult to give a confirmed diagnosis. Please consult your gynecologist ASAP. You may need to get urine examination and STD panel done. Hope this helps. Take care!
