Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!

Well, if there is a diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis and there is a bad odor and especially if there is fishy odor that is felt more after sex or application of soap (as in your case), then it could be bacterial vaginosis by Gardnerella vaginalis bacteria. It is not clear how the infection comes. It's not thought to be a STD. Treatment is usually by antibiotics.

Since you already had a coursed antibiotic, it would be good to get a vaginal swab culture sensitivity to know which antibiotic is sensitive to the bacteria. Please discuss this with your gynecologist. Hope this helps. Take care!
