I have been having this vaginal itch for about a week now it is not constant and sometimes seems to be worse after I use the restroom. I haven't noticed any really unusual discharge I have always had a slight yellow tint to mine but has seemed slightly more yellow lately. It also doesn't appear to be red or swollen but sometimes after wiping is a little sore. I am sexually active with my boyfriend of a year and on bc and I highly doubt it could be an STD. I am concerned about it and not sure what it could be or who I should see or how this can be treated. I called my gyno and can't get an appointment until mid June, so is this something my family care doctor can treat? I am kind of nervous and would really like to figure out what is wrong with me, please help.

P.s I don't know if this has anything to do with it but my last 2 periods have been very off. Two months ago it was 3 or 4 days late and very heavy and thick and only lasted like 2 days when it usually lasts 4 and then this most recent one was a week early and lasted just about 8 or 9 days. And I have also had more frequent urination which I don't know will relate to anything.

I would not wait until June...your regular doctor should be able to help however I would not cancel your June appointment as you never know you may need it....
