Q: Vaginal Irritation

I have been having vaginal irritation for a while. I found out that I had HPV in January but I wasn't have any irritation. I've been celibate for about 6 months so I started wondering why all of this started happening. I also wondered if maybe it started happening because I was stressed from finding out those results. I been using dove soap and I use Woolite on my undergarment. I've been trying to research to figure out what's going on. I've been to the doctor and was told I had a bacterial infection. I took that medication but still felt like somethng was wrong.

I've been having a burning sensation on my upper thigh near my genitalia and I also have some irritation and itching. Sometimes I have urination burning but not that often and sometimes a little dryness. I've just been feeling irritated and I haven't found anything that matches the symptoms that I've been having. My outer labia hurt a little and I'm just irritated when I wear undergarments and sitting too long. I just don't know what to do, I've also taken a couple of baths in a little epsom salt just to get a little comfort. Please help, I don't know what to do, I have a follow up appointment with my doctor next week but I don't know what to do until then.

i was experiencing some of the same symptoms that you were. after a couple visits to the doctor, they determined that it was bacterial vaginosis, & treated me with flagyl cream.. it's been working great so far for me. good luck! i know how irritating it is to be uncomfortable all the time.
