Vaginal infection and bleeding after intercourse

A few weeks ago I started getting slight itchy skin around the vagina area and it was also a little sore.. Days later I had sex and just after when using a tissue realised there was very slight pink from blood,not much but I think it was my blood as we used condom etc..though I am paranoid now.Just been diagnosed with vaginal yeast infection as after this sex it got so much worse.Could need some confirmation that very slight bleeding during intercourse is normal when a yeast infection has begun.Because after reading on internet about this it says hiv etc and I'm so scared.Has anyone else has small blood stains with this infection?
