Q: vaginal fungal infections

Hi i noticed that i have some brown discharge from my vagina, i should get my period in like a week, I have not had any sexual activity, but i am presently taking ketoconazole and using an antifungal shampoo for ringworm....what do u think is happening?

The quantity of the discharge was not given.


The fungal infection you experienced might have already damaged the vaginal mucosa. By treating the fungal infection, you will allow the mucosa to heal. If the discharge is present more than seven days after the other symptoms of the fungal infection disappear, then you might want to visit your gynecologist for additional tests.
