Okay, the night before last was the second time I engaged in sexual intercourse and I woke up that morning and it stung to urinate and was and still is uncomfortable to sit and still urinate. I looked in the mirror and I have two areas of raw skin on the inner entrance of my vagina and I don't know what to do to have it heal and not become infected. It is irritating, and I don't know what to do to har it heal. I'm only 16 and I don't want to tell my mother that his happened from sex, I'm guessing this could be from not being lubricated enough but I am not sure. Please help!!!

It can also be from your hymen tearing some more.

That area is very very clean. Normally you do not get it infected.

Wear cotton panties when you have to, go without panties when it is safe. This will keep you dry and airy. Avoid tight pants and heat. Spray yourself with a small spray bottle after peeing, then pat it dry.

Take NSAID pain killers if you need to.

If it gets worse, or you think you got an infection like yeast or a UTI, you will have to speak to your mom.

I hope you are being safe!
