Ok pretty much everyone has tried oral sex?and also every females knows her body and her scents. I have a question that's around that topic. I can't have oral sex. It feels good but I can't because I'm ashamed my partner will be discusted by my taste (vaginal liquid) it concerns me because I've had this wierd tase for almost 3 months now. Every once and a while like a blob will come out of there. Like a snot looking kinda thing. By now I'm worried I want to enjoy oral. I know how I tasted before. There was like no taste. Now it's just licking a penny and salt mixed togther. Do I have a disease? Am I not eating properly? Why me? -- confused, worried, and unsatisfied.

Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

Normally the vaginal fluid is odorless and tastewise it depends on the individual, the "flora and fauna" of her vagina, and whether there is an infection of the vagina. Normally due to secretions of sweat and sebum, it is slightly salty. So, if you are experiencing a salty taste then also there is nothing wrong with you. If you are not having any sexually transmitted disease or an infection, then there is no worry about any sexually transmitted disease.

However, if there is any cottage cheese type of discharge then yeast infection is a possibility and any oral sex then will cause oral candidiasis. So treatment is required in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are advised to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
