Vaginal dilatation
Posted: 05-02-08 04:44am

I had a clinical abortion about a month ago, i was only around 5 weeks pregnant i stopped bleeding after 3 weeks of having the abortion. My boyfriend and i have recently just started having sex again but we both think my vagina feel much looser. Is there a reason for this, perhaps to do with the abortion and if so will it go back to normal??

kind regards
:)

Surgical abortion at that pregnancy age (5 weeks) can’t cause vaginal dilatation. Even cervical dilatation might not be required at such an early pregnancy abortion.
