Hello, I am a 20-year-old-female who just
has a quick question. About a year ago I
noticed that I have bumps inside my
vagina, but they're more like notches to
me. They're all around my inner vulva.
Most of the time they don't bother me, but
sometimes they cause me a lot of pain,
especially after a yeast infection.
Trying to use the cream that comes inside
most yeast infection medication boxes on
them burns to the point I almost want to
cry, so I've stopped trying. I went to
the doctor and got tested for herpes, but
the test came back negative... is there
anything I can do that might bring me some
comfort?

Any kind of irritation or yeast infection
will take any small things and make them
bigger- to my knowledge, it's normal to
have "notches" in the vulva, and if you
have a yeast infection, they'll be
inflamed and sore. Everything burns during
a yeast infection, I wouldn't worry about
the bumps specifically if a doctor has
never expressed concern.
If the problem only occurs around yeast
infections, you might want to try to
prevent them, with probiotics or something
like that. RePlens also helps to keep the
vulva moist.
