Hi, I am a teenager, and I am confused and I need some help because I don't know what to do and I don't feel comfertable asking my parents about this stuff. About a year ago I had a rash on my vulva. It was about and inch in length. I talked to my doctor about it and she had me try a few different over-the-counter anti-bacterial creams. The rash went away and everything was fine for a little while. I started having an itching sensation on my libias and since then it has been getting progressivley worse. The itching sensation is not present all of the time but usually on when I get hot and sweaty. My outer labias are now flaky and it almost looks like dead skin. My whole vulva is red, I don't know if this is from the itching of from something else like a yeast infection. I also noticed that the insides of my inner libia have a wierd texture to them, it is really hard to describe, it looks kind of like really small bumps. Once again, I dont know if this is just the normal texture or if I have a disease or bacterial infection. To add to the pile I have recently had bumps on my vulva, just one or two at a time usually above my clitoris somewhere, but they are a little smaller then a pea. If you have any insight or information for me that would be wonderful because I am really worried and I have no idea what to do and I have no one else to ask. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

did you talk to your doctor over the phone? why would she tell you about over the counter meds. and not do a pap smare to test in rule out if you have an std, on bacterial infection or yeast infection.
it's not good to guess you have to know before it gets worse.
you have to go to the doctor and get tested to find out what you have. bumps in that area is never good, but that area can be irritated for some reason or it could be an std.
