Q: Vaginal bleeding for two months with pelvic pain

Hi, l don't know what to do anymore. I've had continual bleeding for the last two months that started with intercourse. I have PCOS and my doctor says it has nothing to do with it. I usually have painful, very painful periods and pelvic pain. I have period only 1-3 times a year if any at all since l was 15 and now l just turned 28. My Gyno performed cryosurgery saying that would subside the bleeding. He says now that l should just change my BC pill and that will fix it and that its nothing serious. This has been the worst experience of my life and even after the cryosurgery the bleeding has continued with even more pelvic pain. Feel horrible, always in pain, huge clots when the pelvic pain is bad, bloated, nauseas, headaches and l am so miserable. I feel like my relationship is suffering because of it. My fiance tries to understand but its sooo hard when you can't even give him a good answer or how to fix it.
Please someone help, l don't know what to do anymore, l feel like my doctor's don't care.

I am sorry because I can't offer you an answer but I can offer you a sympathic ear. I have always had HORRIBLE PERIODS... I mean continuous, long, heavy, painful periods. As a teenager, they put me on BC pill (at 15) to help with the stability; however, by the time I was 19 I had been on so many different types of BC pills that would help for about a year and then stop. I stopped taking BC pills and it was better for a few years. Everything was calming. I still had heavy long periods but at least it was only once a month. Then a few years ago, it started again. I was having long heavy painful periods... ten days on, five to seven days off, ten days on, five to seven days off.... I was drained physically and emotionally, saw many doctors, and all of them just recommended getting back on BC pills or hyster. surgery. After many doctors, I am back on BC pills and its back to once a month (usually, sometimes twice) and its still heavy but it only last 7 days now.
All I can say is it seems women's body and our cycles are just too much for the medical world. I had a wonderful chiropractor willing to help me resolve the entire issue, but I's have to stop taking the BC pills to get back to a basic level... no masking symptoms from pills. Anyhow, I would suggest some alternative medicines... accupuncture, chiropactors, etc. And my man, has stayed with me for more than 10 years through this ordeal. I am sure he just wants you to be better because he cares. He is frustrated at the circumstances not you.

thank you
Thank you for your words. I've had heavy periods when l do have periods but this is my first time bleeding for sooo long. Never experienced anything like this in all my years of have periods. Even though lm lucky if l have more then 3 periods a year. Many years lm lucky if l even get one. Just feel like my docs haven't listened, they say it doesn't matter b/c lm not ready to have children but shouldn't it matter now and not later? Doesn't matter if l am or not having children, l want to be healthy when l do have kids. I don't think it healthy when you've gained weight and don't have normal hormone level, with no period, do you? I don't know lm lost. I've tried to get second opinions but its hard with my doc.
