I'm currently on birth control but I've been really bad at keeping up with it, I don't usually take it at the same time everyday and some days I forget to take it. I started the inactive pills on Wednesday and I haven't been bleeding, instead I just have clear mucus discharge and a few blood clots. I had unprotected sex, 3 weeks ago, but I haven't had any signs of pregnancy. I've been nauseous a couple times, but I didn't throw up or anything. I'm currently a college student and I don't want to waste money on a pregnancy test, if it's just a false alarm.

Hello,
Sorry. You cannot be casual regarding properly usage of the birth control pill as well as reluctant to purchase a test kit at a time.
You need to screen out pregnancy first at this moment.
