I thought I was the only one to cut myself when douching- I've long since stopped douching. Our cookies are self- cleaning. lol You would think that they would make sure the tips won't cut or scratch.
There is really nothing you should do to speed up the healing process. Unless you have some underlying problem, it will heal itself. I don't recommend using antibiotic cream or any gauze or anything. Those could cause a yeast infection.
