Extremely eHealthy
Welcome to EHEALTH forum!
According to your symptoms, you were correctly diagnosed as a case of uveitis years ago.
Blindness is a usual complication of uveitis.
Although, in a large number of cases of uveitis, the cause stays unknown, there are few reasons for this condition that need to be determined or excluded.
Uveitis can be brought due to infection of uvea with bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, or as a result of inflammatory process going in some other part of your body (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus)
Infection can be treated and inflammatory process can be alleviated with corticosteroids.

Contact your ophthalmologist as soon as possible, cause the treatment is important for avoiding the eye complications.
Probably, you'll need more detailed examinations for your general health!

Best wishes!
Marija
