HELP! I get a UTI every time after intercourse with my husband. I've tried every preventive and still end up at the Dr\'s for treatment. Usually takes me 3 weeks to totally rid of. I\'m thinking my husband is the reason. I had to stop sex. Just can't go through the pain anymore. My Hx: Hysterectomy; pelvic organ prolapse repair; uncomplicated cystocele; vaginal wall weakness (estrogen cream for that 2xday); 1/month hormone injections since the hysterectomy. Extensive research done and tried to prevent UTI.Have heard 50/50 that my husband needs to get treated. His Hx-treated for UTI in the past year twice, but they occurred after taking antihistamine, which apparently can flare up the prostate in men. He also has hypertension and drinks too much alcohol. (Oh men get very ill and bad mood when they can't have sex) May not see 26 year anniversity.
