3 months ago my bowels swelled up. May be due to a allergy to dairy. I thought that I had something large to pass so I pushed a lot harder trying to have a BM. I felt soar in the lower abbs. Around this time I sneezed and felt movement in my lower left groin. There's a lump there now that's squishy like fat that gets firm when I push and is movable. Had some pain in the area. Ultrasound said I didn't have a hernia, which means nothing. A Dr and a PA say I have one. A surgeon and two other doctors say I don't. One Dr said I have fat slipping between my pelvic bone and my muscle wall ....which is impossible. About two weeks ago I developed an urgency to urinate. It started mildly and got worse over time. This was accompanied by constricted urine flow. Odd thing...when I push while I'm voiding the stream stops. Now I have a constant, very mild, burning in the tip of my penis, random constipation or swelling in the colon, I can't tell which, probably due to diet. The urgency is often far too much for me to bear. CBC looked good a couple months ago. Urine looks good, prostate:shock: looks good, and the last two exams for hernia have turned up nothing. I've seen a PA, 4 doctors and a surgeon. Half of them have given me a clean bill of health! I am almost constantly uncomfortable. Sometimes I urinate every 5 minutes! Urgency, slight burning, constipation....I haven't had sex since Feb. So it's pretty unlikely that I have an STD especially since I've had no symptoms that resemble STD aside from the urgency. The burning is barely there and there is no sign of irritation. No discharge or burning while urinating.
I'm a CNA that isn't working because I was diagnosed with a hernia. I don't have insurance. I'm starting to believe the thing they say about people with no insurance....they don't get proper care. I am going crazy!!!!! I am suppose to be getting married soon. My fiance and I are abstaining. I am an absolute god in bed and she is not going to be happy if this interferes with our "lives." I am beyond discouraged at this point! No insurance and not much in the way of funds. I feel like I need a urologist, a proctologist, and an MRI!!! There has got to be someone out there that can help me! Perhaps they can freeze until someone figures it out!
Please someone for the love of Mike!....or me if you don't know Mike!....help me!!!
I have Interstitial Cystitis, it is a chronic bladder disease somewhat similar but more severe than a urinary tract infection. I noticed your username has kansas in it. If you are in fact from kansas there is a very good doctor named Chip Buttrick in Overland Park that I recommend for you to see. You can look him up first on the web. He has got great credentials and a great reputation as a doctor. He is a Gynocologist and an Intersticial Cystitis Specialist. I understand you do not have insurance but if you can find a way this would be the best doctor to see in my opinion. I have dealt with a chronic disease my whole life and it has been a long difficult road especially when I didn't know what I had and when I was constantly searching for help. I hope you find some relief and I hope you will be able to see this doctor. Remember Dr. Chip Buttrick.
