Hello, If anyone can help me out there you're a god among men (or women)!!!

It's a long story but I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

SOooo I got a UTI a few years ago, most likely from masturbating and passing out without peeing to clean out the plumbing. Stupid, I know, but I didn't know then. Anyway that UTI before it cleared up made me RUSH to the washroom every 5 minutes. Not fun!

So a year after that was cleared up, I started getting a funny feeling when I finished peeing. I would start to feel as though I simply wasn't done. I also had noticed that my flow of pee had weakened immensely. I thought nothing of it, but it's become worse since then. Last week I was playing soccer, and took a pee at half time, and two minutes later I thought I was going to pee myself, so I went back to the washroom only to stand there waiting for pee to come out and nothing happened. That was the last straw, I went to a doctor this week.

Did a digital prostate exam (finger in bum, how is that digital?) did a bladder exam as well, and a blood and urine test.

Blood and Urine came back fine. Doc said my prostate was a little enlarged or irritated, not sure what word he used, and put me on anti-biotics. when he told me that the blood and urine came back, he said they were fine and he thought it was just anxiety. yes, I am under some stress - more than ever before, but would that really make me feel like I have to pee all the time only to have drops of pee dribble out? it's funny, the first time i was in there he said my prostate felt bigger then the blood and urine comes back and he thinks its anxiety, and doesn't even check the prostate. he said he'd call me back when the ultrasound comes back but he tried to play me off like it was anxiety and it was in my head.

Can I get some thoughts on this bullcrap?

Extremely eHealthy
Your complains of frequent urination, feeling that the urination hasn't been completed, difficulty urinating, such as dribbling or hesitant urination, weak urine flow, are all symptoms of prostatitis, inflammation of prostate gland.
Men with frequent, reoccurring urinary tract infections are candidates for prostatitis.
Actually, the infection has spread further.
Prostatitis that is result of frequent UTI"s is known as chronic bacterial prostatitis, when there is a inflammation in the gland, but, bacteria is difficult to be found in the urine.
Although, the urine sample is free of bacteria, still, antibiotic treatment is suggested for longer period, usually, 4 to 12 weeks (long-term treatment with a carefully selected antibiotic, prostate tissue is difficult to be penetrated by antibiotics).
And the answer to your other question...finger in bum, how is that digital?
is simple.
Digital, comes from latine name for finger digitus (digital is used in electronic and computing, because fingers are used for discrete counting). Smile

Best wishes!
